Work Experience:
Paulo was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, right by the beautiful coast off the Atlantic Ocean. He has been married for 23 years and has two wonderful daughters. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and can speak Portuguese, Spanish and English. He has worked in the chemical field for several American companies based in Brazil, but because of his new hobby manufacturing furniture and cabinets through his family's own business, Paulo became interested in structural design.
In 1990, Paulo moved to the united States to work as a project manager in California, developing land for commercial and residential ventures and then moved on after 11 years to work as a production manager for a high end residential custom builder in Long Beach, CA. He has always been an engineer of solving problems and loves hands-on projects.
After familiarizing himself with the California landscape over several years, Paulo thought it was critical to help preserve the homes that line this state. Thus, he joined the Quakeproofing Team at Weinstein Construction Corporation where he enjoys consultations with homeowners regarding solutions to their homes' problems. He is a leader in his field and has the right imagination to transform any weak foundation into a sturdy platform for safe living.
